Why Pressure Washing?
More and more owners choose for pressure washing services when it comes to doing the exterior maintenance of their house, store, restaurant, or commercial or industrial building. A pressure washing tool offers the advantage of cleaning easily and thoroughly exterior surfaces. Used with the right product and at the appropriate strength of pressure, it can remove not only dust and dirt, but also:
- Peeling paint
- Peeling varnish
- Loose rust
- Other contaminants
This will leave the surface completely clean and brand-new looking.
Pressure washing is also used to increase adhesion before:
- Applying any other coating (epoxy, caulk, primer, rust inhibitor, etc.)
As the surface is completely free of all contaminants, nothing interferes with the adhesion of the new product being applied.
Residential Pressure Washing
Pressure washing for residential buildings is generally done with pressure and hot water. Homeowners use pressure washing mostly to get rid of mold and all kinds of stains and thus increase the appearance of a building and the surface adhesion before applying a coating (paint or other).
Commercial Pressure Washing
Pressure washing done on commercial and industrial buildings is normally done with very high pressure and vapor. As those are often large-scale projects, we use a pressure washer which includes a very large water tank, this way we do not have to interrupt our work to go fill the tank.
